About the role:
We are currently looking for a System Administrator with strong technical skills and proven experience to be a key player in our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualization
- Installation and upgrade of computer components and software, management of virtual servers and integration of automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and solutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing problem impact.
- Providing documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrading existing IT infrastructure
- Performing or delegating regular backup operations and implementing appropriate procedures for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures
- Lead desktop support and customer service efforts, ensuring that all issues related to desktop applications, workstations and related equipment are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruption.
- Responsibility for capacity, storage planning and database performance.
- The focus is on providing all levels of support to employees on site as well as remotely.
- This role includes Office 365 system administrator, migrations, configuration, implementation, and security. Support for desktop end users for all aspects of supported solutions, such as Office 365, SharePoint Online applications and other future tools implemented in our environment.
- Internal expert for the entire Office 365 system (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Power BI, etc.). Your opinion and guidance will be valued during the implementation of new and existing solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of the Windows operating system
- Basic knowledge of Linux/macOS operating systems
